I delight in writing, and especially delight in writing very quickly.
Flash fiction to me is not something that takes a day, or even a leisurely few hours. It is something done in the moment of inspiration, or perhaps even a moment of no inspiration where you force yourself to improvise creativity on your feet.
I’ve written in silence. I’ve written to music. I’ve storyfied to songs, allowing myself no more than the length of the song to think of a story, and to finish it.
Once I wrote 15 songs in 40 minutes to Husker Du’s “New Day Rising” album.
As part of Mulberry Lightning, I intend to bring some of this ultra violet fiction to your attention.
